Northern Electric Cooperative lets members decide how they would like to pay for their power. From SmartHub - the co-op's online account management and payment tool - to a prepaid billing option, your co-op offers numerous ways to pay for electric service. All payments are due on the 21st of each month.

Pay Online With SmartHub

Use the Northern Electric Cooperative SmartHub tool to pay bills online, set up auto pay options, manage account notifications, and monitor daily electric use. Simply register and log in to your SmartHub account on this page. You can also download the SmartHub app from the Android or Apple app stores and control your account from a smartphone or tablet.

Pay Now Online

If you do not want to create an online account with SmartHub you can use the simple 'pay now' online payment option. Simply enter your account number and last name and pay your bill. No registration is required.

Pay By Phone 1-855-939-3740

Northern Electric members who want to pay their bill over the phone with a credit card or check can call 1-855-939-3740. This number allows members to enter their account information using a secure pay-by-phone system.

Mail Payment

You can pay your monthly bill simply by mailing a check to Northern Electric Cooperative. Checks must be received by the 21st of the month. Mail payments to: Northern Electric Cooperative, PO Box 457, Bath, SD 57427

Automatic Withdrawal

For a worry-free payment option, you can have your monthly bill automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account every month. To enroll, download the simple authorization form and return it to your co-op office with a voided check blank.

Pay At Your Co-op Office

Monthly payments can be paid by cash, check, or credit card at the Bath office. A credit card kiosk and drive-thru window are available at the Bath office. Secure drop boxes are located at both offices for after-hours payments.

Prepaid

Northern Electric Cooperative offers a prepaid billing option for members who would like an alternative to the traditional method of billing. Prepaid allows members to pay for their power up front with the funds being withdrawn from their account as they use energy.
