As part of yearly and ongoing safety training, Northern Electric Cooperative linemen recently completed pole top rescue training. Joe Denison, Loss Control Professional, from South Dakota Rural Electric Association was on site to teach and evaluate the linemen. The training requires each lineman to act out the scenario and successfully “rescue” an unconscious lineman – or in this case, a dummy.
