2024 Annual Meeting

Northern Electric Cooperative will hold its 77th Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. The annual meeting is an opportunity for members to receive updates on the co-op's finances and operations. Members also have the opportunity to vote for their representatives on the Northern Electric Board of Directors during the annual meeting. The annual meeting consists of three major pieces of cooperative business.

• Approval of Annual Meeting Minutes from previous year

• Approval of Treasurer's Report

• Election and Seating of Directors

Registration will start at 4:00 p.m., with the business meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. One $35 meal voucher will be issued to each registered membership in lieu of a meal. A list of participating restaurants from throughout our service territory is included with each voucher. Members can redeem their complimentary meal at participating restaurants by August 31, 2024.

Members are encouraged to stop by from 4:00-6:00 p.m. to visit with staff and board members. A variety of activities for the family, as well as snacks, will be available. Our high-voltage trailer and Neon Leon Power Town display will be on display with safety demonstrations. East River Electric staff will be on site with hands-on interactive electricity demonstrations for families of all ages.  Additional activities offered include bucket truck rides, trying on lineman safety gear, and more.
